The decrease in CA125 number is great. The goal is to get it into the normal range (under 30), but it takes time for your body to react.
Lots of people get through chemo and live long lives. Some of us have to do it more than once and some never have any more evidence of disease. The stats are not all that helpful because we are all different. I think 5 years is when they consider cure so they stop counting. It seems to me that she should have more conversations with dr about chemo. There are lots of good nausea meds these days. Best of luck to all of you and your mum.
Talismom

thanks a lot talismom, this night is my mum so ill her stomach ı think it is psychological, this morning we meet a woman. She does bioenerji do you know this. She says "ı can do get rid off this cancer"without chemo.is it possible?

The drop in the CA125 after surgery is very good. That means she has a very good chance the chemo will work. You cannot make the cancer go away without chemo. There is NO food or exercise program that can make cancer go away, so please be very careful with your mother. Make sure she gets the chemo treatments. Her doctor will help her with any side effects from the chemo, so tell her not to be afraid. We have all done it. It will save her life and let her enjoy her family. Please be sure she gets the chemo. Do what her doctor says.

Stage 1C is not very advanced and they should be able to treat her and get her into remission. I think the survival rate for that level is higher than what you think. I send all good wishes to you and your mother.

HI bsrrgz.
First of all I noticed that you are located in Turkey. We visited Istanbul for 2 days last October while on a cruise and enjoyed it tremendously. A beautiful city and friendly city full of history.
There are many medications available now for nausea related to chemotherapy. Sometimes they have to try different medications if the first ones they give do not work well because everyone responds individually to medications. I am sure the Doctor will make sure she receives the right medication for her.
The 90% rate to be alive in 5 years is a very good number. There is every reason to believe that she will be in that 90% and be alive in 5 years.

I was so sick yesterday from the chemo that I spent the entire day in bed and in the bathroom. Today, I am feeling better. Tomorrow will be better. I have only three more cycles to go. THe good news is that that the bone pain was much better this time. Just think in a few cycles, I will be done and so will your mom.

thank all so much but ı cant see anything in istanbul in now maybe one day shamrock2009 came again and you,my mum and me visit historical places.
