Once again-disability

I have so many of you to thank. I just happened to go online to see my bank account and saw that yesterday -- two (2) weeks after applying for disability benefits with Social Security -- there was a deposit for backpay to last May. Hurrah! I hadn't even received an approval letter or call from Social Security. I got the money first! This is truly unbelievable -- even in Georgia, it works!
Thanks again to everyone who encouraged me and supported me and provided information. I highly recommend it to others!

That is just wonderful news! I also got my money in my account before the paperwork came. I knew you wouldn't have any problem :)

God bless!

That is great about the disability deposit!!!

Hurray! Yep, even in Georgia, lol...

Thats wonderful news and it will help you so much! God bless!

So did your doctor give you a hard time about disabilty? I have worked for the State for 20 years and when I called them about disability they said I would have to get two different doctors to say I can not work any job. I had OVCA in 2001 Stage IIIC and recurrance May 2008. I am totally exhausted and

cjp I used my gyn/onc and my gp actually the onc was harder than the gp .But with recurrence should be fairly simple.kate

Gosh, I have no idea what my doctor said or sent to Social security. I assume just my original diagnosis and details of what he found when he operated. (Cancer being in my colon and impacting 4 of my 7 lymph nodes.) I did consult with another oncologist who saw my CT scan, and another doctor who also saw my CT, so I don't know. From what I could tell, the fact that it had gone into my colon made it definite. That is considered outside the ovaries, so at least, initially metastisis. With you having a reoccurrence, I wouldn't think there'd be any question.
