Obama and Ovarian Cancer (AGAIN)

0 Recommendations

I recently posted an article where Senetor Obama is supporting the National Ovarian Caner Alliance and the "War on Cancer" partially because his mother died of it. Someone, and I can't get back to that page now--but I'm sure she's wonderful!--gave me this link. You can tell him your story. I told him mine and how Ovarian Cancer impacted my life and how there needs to be so much more awarness, early diagnosis, better tests for diagnosis, better treatment and research and ultimatley a cure! I told him how many Americans there were behind him--especially when it was Ovarian cancer. I encouraged him and Michelle and their daughters to make an appearance at the walk in Washington in September. If everyone who has had this terrible disease impact their lives in any way writes their story, perhaps it will spur him along! Here is the link to tell your story:

Yay! Pass it on to whoever you know affected by cancer! Especially Ovarian!

Thank you so much for the link. Hopefully we can have a voice.

Thanks for the link. I posted it on my facebook.

Great Idea!

Maybe we can make a facebook page with our pics on it and send that with our stories? What do you guys think?

Hi Hil323,

Thank you so much for the link. I sent in my story too and I hope it will help. After the new administration takes office we need to continue to contact our senators and representatives to encourage them to take action on our battle against cancer. This is a war we have to win!!! Thanks again for sharing the link.
God Bless!! Eileen

I sent mine in. But please, remember the site http://change.gov/page/s/yourstory is not just for cancer, it's for other ideas too. We all have great ideas, I know we do - we've had time to "THINK" too much at times. So if you have a great idea of any kind, submit it!

There are so many hoping with highet hopes that the new President will work on so much. He's got his hands full and I hope to see some really good things.
