Some of you may remember that I had many questions related to a 5 cm cyst on my ovary. The concern was that it was causing pain, wasn't getting any smaller, and was potentially causing other problems.

Yesterday, the cyst, my left ovary, and left fallopian tube were removed and everything found to be benign. The procedure was done at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore by Dr. Ryu. I was very comfortable with him and very happy with my experience at the hospital and with the entire staff.

While I am not part of the club, I wish you all luck and prayers. I will continue to spread the word about OVC. Don't give up the fight!

I'm so happy for you. Don't ever stop spreading the word. It may help the next lady get a stage 1 instead of a stage 3 diagnosis.

Congratulations! Keep spreading the word, so many women (even nurses) don't realize that Ovarian Cancer isn't detected in their annual pap smear.
