OK, I know it's STILL September (24th). I know it's almost October. I know about the ACS home page pictures and the year-round items sold by Oriental Trading. However, I was feeling a little down today when I filled and re-filled a prescription at Walgreens. Brought my bag home and opened it up under the stapled receipt...bottles looked funny to me...finally, realized they were PINK, not white. Started talking to the bottles, asking them what's up?? Read the top (under the pink ribbon) and it says: "Why pink? Learn more at walgreens.com/giving." Being BRCA-1 positive, and just having both breasts removed last month, I thought long and hard about this, and decided that I think as Ovarian Cancer fighters and survivors, we should just change our color to PINK, or better yet, maybe PINK should become a universal color for cancers everywhere. Then, at least we'd all survive together, not in an individual month each year, but 12 months out of each year.

I agree! But not with the pink though. I love pink, but teal needs just as much publicity too.
I'm always telling people that we need more teal out there. And we do!
