I am writing on behalf of a woman in my support group who is looking at two different clinical trials for recurrent ovca: one for PARP inhibitors with Carboplatin for BRCA1/2 carriers; the other is Nexavar and Avastin. Has anyone out there had experience with either of these?

I am most interested in what you find out too. The Nexavar is one I have not heard about.
I am trying to get into a PARP single arm study. This is my 2nd recurrence of Ovarian cancer breast cancer in 1993) BRAC2. I don't know much except I have been reassured that they follow you very closely with CA 125s and CT scans and that the most common side effect was mild nausea.
I also would be interested in hearing from someone who has been is now in a PARP trial.
If you get any info would you please let me know. My doc want me to participate in the PARP Study 19 soon after I am done with my Chemo around Christmas 2009.
