I have been healthy until about a year ago. I have since been diagnosed with a thyroid problem however, I have been to numerus doctors and with my symptoms they always say it MUST be cancer, yet they have not been able to find it.
So, my question is. Since the thyroid medication about 4 months ago I was feeling better. Now I am more fatigued than ever. I mean tired. Im 27 and go to bed at 7:00 and sleep till 6:00am and still feel unable to work the next day. I have also experienced bowel changes( completely unnormal for me). I am extremely bloated and have pressure in my abdomen. All my symptoms lead to ovarian cancer. What are your experiences with the symptoms?
It sounds crazy but I feel like the left side of my abdomen/ovary is abnormal. I feel like theres something that shouldn't be there. Did any one experience this? I work in the medical field, maybe I'm being parranoid. I know you are going through alot but I need help. FYI, I have a laprascopy on Thursday. If you have any suggestions on what this could be, please help.

Don't panic until you get the results of your laprascope. Ovarian cysts and endometriosis can cause pain and bloating too. It is good you are getting it checked out but don't panic until you know something. Did they do a CA125?

Have you had a CA125 and transvaginal ultrasound? If not, I would ask for them. What kind of doctor are you seeing?

I have not had a CA 125. My doctor, shes an OB/GYN, didn't want to do one until we know something. I have tried to have a transvaginal ultrasound but I am a virgin and they cannot perform one on me.

Your upcoming laparascopy surely will give your doc some answers. There are many conditions that could give you the symptoms you are experiencing.

I agree with the other ladies. I know it is scary to think of all the possibilities, but try to take deep breaths until you know for sure what is going on.

Here's hoping for good news.
