I only joined this site today but I can see under posts that there are seperate topics, ie. this one i have put under young survivors.
Is there a way to go direct to different topic groups. Someone has mentioned that there is a fertility group but I can't find it.
Any help appreciated.

You could start a new discussion. Young Survivors is probably as good a topic group as any.

I will say that I hae been on this group for about a year and i am 25 years old now. I was diagnosed about a year and half ago with stage one OVCA. I underwent a removal of my right ovary and 3months after my surgery I underwent fertility treatment. i ended up freezing 7 unfertilized eggs. I didnt need to go through chemo, praise the lord, and I didnt need any HRT (hormone replacement therapy), but I did get help from a non profit called "Fertile Hope" Fertilehope.org and they paid for my first round of meds which is expensive (3-4K)..but it was well worth it and my work had a fundraiser and i saved up each paycheck possible.
my suggestion is that if you havent had surgery yet, work with a gyn onc that will be able to spare an ovary if possible. If you have any questions feel free to email me: lani.hendrickson@gmail.com
