I had a follow up appointment today with my GYN Oncologist. It's been 21 months since my debulking surgery and everything is going well. My CA 125 keeps coming back normal as do my CT scans. I'm happy that things are going well, but I still get scared every time I see my doctor. Sigh of relief for the next four months....

Wonderful news! Sounds like you are doing great. I know what you mean about getting nervous. I have an appt next week and I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach......

Yeah, that is one of the "invisible" side effects of ovca. We worry that everything is cancer, and every exam and test brings on renewed anxiety. The waiting for results isn't so fun, either.

Good for you - that's wonderful. I hope this continues for many years!

We all worry and get nervous - it's the nature of the disease - but allow yourself to enjoy what you've accomplished. My first remission lasted 6 years - and I'm IIIC - so just assume you can continue to do well. All the best to you.
