I had a CT scan on Monday, after my 4th Topotecan treatment. I spoke with my doc's LNOP today, and the results were good, although a bit mixed. My para-aortic lymph nodes are smaller. What I neglected to ask were the sizes of the nodes at the beginning to compare with what she told me today. I will ask the doc next week when I see him.
I had thought that they were the only nodes involved, but the scan showed others in the same general vicinity..the interior coronary blah blah blah. However, the interpretation is that they are either enlarged OR an aggregate of nodes that read as one enlarged one. Again, a question for the doc.
Since my CA125 seems to be trending downwards, doc wants me to continue with the Topo and keep watching.
But...no tumor activity and no sign of cancer anywhere else!
