There is life after chemo. My last chemo was June, 08. It took about six months for me to get rid of the residual chemo effects. But now I'm feeling great. The best news is my CA-125 came back today at "2".

I'm greatful to God, my doctors, and my wonderful family, It has been a long hard road. I was given little chance for survival but I made it. I'm here to tell you, don't give up. Please don't give up.

Congratulations!!!! That is wonderful!!!!

How wonderful! I hope you always feel as good as you do today.

That is Awesome!!

My Dear Brown Eyes, This time is so hard for you. When your feeling so sick you don't want to go on think about those that do want you to stay on this earth. How much they need you and want you with them. Don't give in and don't let OC take over your life and your mind. I remember the days when I was on my knees and my head in the toilet and wishing I could just go to sleep. And when my feet and legs hurt so bad I couldn't wear clothes or stand to be touched by anyone or anything I would try to think of happier times and what I was going to do when I got well. I day dreamed about dancing, planting flowers and just being able to go outside in the sun. My goals were to see my gradchildren graduate high school, then college, and then to be able to dance at their weddings. Your in a fight for your life, each chemo gets you a bit closer to wellness. Hang in there, stay as strong as you can and do not allow it to have power over you. Keep writing to us, knowing we are always here for you physically, mentally and in spirit.
Your new friend,
Glenda Mitchell

Thanks for sharing your story. It is very encouraging.
Congratulations!!!!

Congratulations to you!!

I will have my first year anniversary... NED... on October 31st.....Halloween!!!
I am still fatigued as I am back at work part-time but
I seem to get stronger each month......

I was diagnosed last year with stage IIIc ovarian
cancer after years of symptoms that no one could
diagnose....

I hope and pray each day that I will stay in remission..
and all of us will......

All the best..

When I was diagnosed Nov 05 stage 3C I didn't even want to try chemo. Of course I did, last treatment was March 06, went back to work full-time May 06 and would say I pretty much recovered by July 06.

During chemo I took it one day and one night at a time. I also decided not to work instead give in to what my body needed and got lots of rest.

3.5 year post chemo, I am still feeling great. My tumormarker is on the rise so I guess next year I'll do it again but yes, there absolutely is life, and health, and much normalness post chemo.

Best wishes!
It gives all of us a goal.
