I started Gemzar 5 days ago; they plan on giving me Gemzar and Carbo on day 7 and then off for 15 days. Prior to this I was on low does Taxol weekly. I also have 2 external neproscopys because I tend to get kidney infections. I was quite tired before going on the Gemzar and now I feel totally drained and my temperature has gone to 102.1. Does anyone know how long these flu like symptoms last?

My Oncologist has drilled into me that I MUST call the office or go to the ER if I have that high of a temperature! I have had low grade fevers on chemo, around 100 or so, but not over 100.
