Hi,
I was stage 3c in Nov/07, usual surgery including bowel resection and bladder surgery. I am platinum resistant and reoccured within 5 months. Had successful radiation on the tumour but now back in full force. This trial has been offered to me but, I have not heard of it before. I searched this site and could not find anything. Has anyone had this treatment or know anything about it. Thanks.

No, I live in Canada, it is a phase 2 study available in about a month they said.

I am pretty sure that this is similar to the trial I am on for EC145. I did some googling and saw that the company which produces EC145, Endocyte, has licensed its epithilone (sp?) technology to Bristol Myers Squibb. You can read some of my posts to get a description, and some links. It is working well for me so far.

Thanks for the post. I read your previous posts. They did not mention Doxil as well to me but this would be instead. It looks very promising. I live on about 4 - 6 immodium a day so maybe the constipation issue will even itself out! I won't know for another month, but I will let you know, I hope I get in the study.

I, also, have had diarrhea since my surgery back in January. My surgery gave a script for Questran and it really works. The drug is a powder that you mix in water and can add to juice if you like. The drug is used to bring down high cholesterol but has a side effect of cnstiaption.
