Just heard yesterday that Dr. Oz will be doing a show dedicated to Ovarian Cancer. Dr. Barbara Goff, a gyn oncologist from Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and University of Washington, is taping the show with Dr. Oz today. Will let you all know, when I know, when the show will be aired.
Finally some national recognition--even during breast cancer awareness month!!!

More needs to be taught about ovarian cancer.
The producers of the Dr. Oz Show approached the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance about this segment. The organization recommended Dr. Barbara Goff for the show because she has been a leader in advocating for women with this disease. You can find the recenly released Symptom Diary and Practice Guidance at www.ovariancancer.org/diary.
The producers have not set an air date for the show as of yet. The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance has been in touch with the producers and will notify the community as soon as an air date is set.
