Well just came from doctor and she said all was clear! I dont have to see her for another three months and we will go from there. I was 1c when i was diagnosed and so i hope that this will not reoccur for another 15 to 20 years that would be nice. I know i should be greatful which i am but, we are in such debt from everything that we cant even celebrate. O well life is more then important than go out.

Terrific news! I hope you can celebrate at home. You deserve it!

Woo Hoo! Congrats, I felt the same way I needed a parade....but I got cake and ice cream from hubby instead. Wishing you all the best! ((((HUGS))))

I am so happy your doctor was able to detect your cancer at such an early stage - may it never come back and may all of this just be a bad memory to you. Congrats on being declared clear!

Hi every one , I was diagnosed with 1c ovarian cancer. I just would like to know what treatment did they give you and what kind of chemo meds did they use.

I was diagnosed with 1C and I received 6 rounds of Taxol and Carbo.

congrdulations, I to was again declared NED last week.

It is wonderful.

Congrats, kmeha, on the "all clear". So glad that you were diagnosed early. I'm always glad to hear of someone diagnosed at Stage I.

I am sooo happy for you. I was diagnosed 1c in February 2008 and all is well. I am pictured with another 1c survivor (I am on the left) who I met on this site. After what you have been through, yes, you can celebrate. You are alive and healthy. It doesn't cost anything to dance, sing and be grateful.

I am very happy for you Kmeha. I too diagnosed 1C and finished my 6th treatment of taxol/carbo on 10/30/09. What we have all gone through with this viscous disease we all need to celebrate, unfortunately some sooner than others. But for you and I we are able to celebrate. To those OC sisters out there I wish that your day of celebration comes soon. Peace and Love

Let your heart celebrate and be happy. A wonderful day. And debt is , well, nothing, compared to cancer and Taxol and all that. Debt is just nothing when you really think about it.

Does it feel scary? I have three more maintenances and admit I don't want to celebrate. I just want to sit at home and look out the window and feel alive.

it is Free to celebrate yourself for the survivor you have been; acknowledge it; you have so much to smile about! contragulations!

I was dx Stage 1 grade 1 on 9/3. Treatment 26 radiation, 6 Taxol Carrbol and 3 direct radiatiation.

I had 1 chemo so far and am 1/2 done w/ radiation. My Dr. said "You will be cured."

I am having nausea w/radiation -- sometimes quite severe, but NOT complaining!!!

Praying for and sending hugs to everyone here.

Congratulations! That is great news! It makes everyone so hopeful when we hear about others good news!

I too, just saw my doc and she told me I am still in Remission! It has been almost 11 months now! Ct scan showed "NO Evidence of Recurrent Cancer!" I see her in January! Merry Christmas to All & Happy New Year! :)

I had 4 rounds of Taxol and Carboplatin. Went every 3rd week. Was not to bad but the neasea was the worst. I am hoping for the long dance with NED.

Congrats! Celebrate which ever way that better suits you. Maybe you can watch a good movie and relax at home and just enjoy that you are here to celebrate. I too, am celebrating. I'll be seeing my doctor again in January.

Good luck to you! And my you be cancer free forever!
God bless you!

Love, Esther

kmeha - great news! I am always happy to hear of other 1c survivors (I am one, too, dancing with NED since May) - it makes those statistics seem more real, somehow. My surgeon said it is much more likely that it will never come back than it will, but I think that fear will always be in the back of my mind, no matter how many years we have. In the meantime, just living is a celebration!

Congratulations on your good news! I'm sure you beat the Beast and it will never return. Enjoy your life!
