Declining CA 125!!!!!

0 Recommendations

Day one, round three of topotecan today. My CA125 has dropped almost 800 points from 3 weeks ago! This is the first drop in almost a year. Who would have thought that a CA125 of 2740 would sound good?! Down from 3528 last time. I see my doc tomorrow, and I hope he is as encouraged as I am. I will have another CT scan soon, and we will have an even better idea if my lymph nodes are surrendering to the Topo.

I am gonna beat this sucker!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! It's wonderful to hear that a treatment is doing what it is supposed to do.

I dunno...that Godiva chocolate and winning the lottery sounds pretty darn tempting, lol!

Oh my, that is better news that getting a truckload of Godiva followed by winning the lottery.

It is a happy happy thing to read and you have to be thrilled.

Great news! I hope that topotecan is just the thing for you!

That is so great. Can't imagine a better feeling than having that number go down. Looks like you won't have to have the rdiation after all. I finished my radiation and find out the results in six weeks. A long time to wait.

Great news!

Thanks, ladies. We just got home from day 2 of chemo and a doctor visit. Actually just saw his nurse practitioner today. She agreed that the CA125 drop is a very good sign. I am scheduled for a CT scan on the 22nd. That will give the Topo 3 full rounds to work some magic.

I have been trying my utmost to stay positive, but seeing that CA125 number climb and climb was getting discouraging. I am feeling more hopeful now than I have in a long time, and that's a good feeling!

That is so great!!!! You are on a roll, so just keep on going!

Great news! So happy for you... :)Kim
