CT scan results and weekly taxol

0 Recommendations

Well I saw the Dr. today. CA was 40 and CT scan showed the same 3 lesions. One was slightly smaller and the other 2 were slightly bigger, not by much. So he is figuring that the Avastin and Cytoxan have reached their limit. He said having 23 treatments was alot more then most women have. So now we are moving on to weeking Taxol, 3 weeks on, 1 off. The only knowledge I have of Taxol is of when I was on that and Carbo 5 yrs ago with my initail treatment. If anyone is on this regimen or has been on it can you please let me know how it effected you, nausea, hair, fatigue, etc. Also, is there any remote possibility that any kind of remission is ever possible again? 6 months, a year, anything. My daughter's wedding is in 2 weeks and I promised myself that after today that is going to be the only thing I think about. Thanks again for any info. Maria
