Hi Mark, The grand canyon is doing good, it's just the skin irritation around the scar tissue that I'm dealing with now but I guess that is to be expected. Just tryin to prevent skin ulcers now. But I'm a happy camper and life is good for me. The nurse did mention that the scaring would take about three years to heal to it's full porential. I will be just fine before long. Mark I will try to make the next meeting but not sure due to my participation with Balloon Fiesta. Also hoping to see Balloonatic out there as well. Hey you want a balloon ride?

the pics. of the 'Balloons'!

My wife, son and I always wanted to take a ride in
of those beautiful Hot Air Balloons!! Maybe one day!

I hope Ben does not overexert himself at the festival. When you see him remind him ta slow down for me will ya.

Congratulations! 1 year IS a big deal! I celebrate 2 anniversaries myself: initial ostomy surgery 11 yrs and 5 months and 1 week!! and resection: 2 yrs, 8 months and 7 days!! Yeah for us all! We are all survivors and each year, we prove life goes on!

There's an annual balloon fest in Bangor, ME, as well! Love to see them when they all soar together! Beautiful!
