I have a silly question. Can I use lotion around the adhesive of my flange or will that cause it to become loose? My skin is dry this time of year and it is itchy!!!!! Any suggestions?

Calamine makes sense since it dries. I have put some nystatin cream around wafer (I get yeast redness). BUT very little so it does not leak under the wafer. The calamine makes sense to try!

hi Chriswife...the best advice i can give is to use calamine lotion.I was advised to use this by my stoma nurse..and it worked,just make sure you only apply a thin layer,and let it dry completely..and you wont have any problems with the flange becoming loose.I always have a bottle handy for when my skin becomes sore and itchy x
