I have Chrons too and have had 3 different ostomies. This one is permanate. I love your video. Ive been in that dark place too. I could feel the pain and the joy in your video. I voted. Thank you for making that video. xox terri

What an amazing and uplifting video. Yours is definitely a winner in MY book Sharry.
This is the kind of video I would love to show at the UOAA Conference in Jacksonville. Very moving !!

Very well done you got my vote. I don't have an ostomy but we have a oddly similar story with a much different heath issue (neurological). Your film was well thought out and really showed an angle of hope that I was not expecting but really glad I experienced. GREAT WORK !!!!

I would be honored to have you use my short video at the UOAA Conference in August. . This is the kind of help I would like to offer to all groups and organizations.

Great video. I, too, celebrate my ostomy because the alternative would have been devastating. Lucky for us this operation exists so we can live and continue to do the things we want to. Mine was from radiation treatments from a previous cancer that made a hole that had to be bypassed, but whatever our reasons for having one, isn't it great that it's around?? Hope you win!!!!

I have sent an email asking if the votes I have already got will still count but have not heard back yet. I think it would be pretty unfair if they didn't....

Voting WAS open but then after Hurricane Sandy hit they shut it down. It will re open on the 22nd of Nov. I will repost the link again when it is open for voting. Thanks!!

Hi again everyone, I just want to thank yo all for the wonderful feedback and support you have given me regarding my video.
I just want to mention that voting opens up again tomorrow, If you could PLEASE go and vote for my video I would appreciate it. Also if you want to share the link with anyone else go ahead. The more awareness about how having an Ostomy isn't the end of the world the better.

I will be reposting the link tomorrow once I get it just incase it's different or something strange like that...
