when your gp starts up does anybody eles get DKA?
a number of times when my gp starts i end up in hospital on an iv drip, my bloods go off the chart and i end up with DKA.
iv been in icu because of this a few times.
its that bad, even when i walk into AnE they say
'oh its you' and without even asking me whats wronge they just say
'she has DKA'
i just want to slap them!!!!!
its diabetic ketoacidosis.
its when your bloods go high and u become really ill.
