Do this and you and your family will be irritated, aggravated and hugely inconvenienced....

Then you will become astonished then grateful and thankful and leave with a replenished spirit.



Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are able to be at the tourist view point at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge to watch the sun rise over the Oakland hills.



If nothing was said, there is something awesome about pre-dawn and sunrise all by itself.

But, often we might hear the story of the building of the bridge and that would be followed by each of us speaking about some impressive, worthwhile and good about America and our economic system.



Why talk about what is good about America? Because we need to remember how we got to where we are. People.

America; "Of the people, By the people and For the people."



Selfish people; Edison wanted his deaf mother to hear better so he invented the telephone. Well, not directly, but you get the idea. Ben Franklin invented bi-focal glasses so he could read next to the indoor heating stove he invented because he was cold.

We could remember the legions of doctors and scientists and engineers and thinkers and businesspeople and others who did what they did so those who followed could do what they do........all doing what they do for their own personal reason, not because they were told to.



So what? Look at you, with more comfort and ease and maybe even your life, because of someone you may never know

cared enough to work at solving a problem, to make things better for somebody else. And you benefitted.



So, go someplace special and greet the cleansing, refreshing fresh day as God caresses your cheek with a sunrise.
