My Aunt has NF Type 2, and has had several complications from this, and I am sure that my mother has Type 1, but has not been diganosed.....she will not go to the doctor. I am wondering if I should have myself tested, I am in my early 20's, and I have the cafe au lait marks, but no noticable bumps yet. Where should I go to get tested, and what kinds of tests should I be taking.....Do I need to see a specific doctor?
