There are some benefits of growing up pentecostal that prepared me for having HAD nf. For a time, I got sucked into the charismatic, specifically Word of Faith, movement. I am more discerning now. His Will is the most important, yet I still watch my tongue and am careful how I talk about having HAD nf. Yes, I still show signs of tumors and the result of surgery, yet those are "scars" and reminders of how God has blessed me through this chapter, and not just me but others.
