I'm am a new member. I went to the doctor for my nf visit the first time in about 35 years. As a young girl I was always told that there is nothing that could be done. I started checking the web for some updated information. I was so surprised to find so many people dealing with nf. As a kid my family would never talk about nf. I am 1 of 5 children in my family and the only one with nf. My father also suffered with nf. So I decided to start checking if there is some help out there. I was given a medication to start on to help strink the small tumors. I am also going to have some of the larger tumors removed my surgery. I am also seeing another doctor to see what steps there going to take to help me. I will kepl you posted I my journey,
