I have a tumor on my chin.Its a big one too for being on the face.Saturday my grandson head butted it and now its swolen and leaking something reminds me of like pimple junk but this isnot a pimple unless pimples can be there for 20 years.And can grow its also gotten a bit bigger.Its about the size of first joint of my pinkie finger.What could the stuff it leaked out be?Is it just tumor matter.It leaked it out after it quit bleeding
I'm not a M.D. and it is always best to consult one when you are in doubt, (Drs. needs their $175 office calls :0[ ) but I can tell you that I have 3 on forehead, chin and knee that are each the size of a kids marble. On occasion they tend to leak a white and slightly red like substance resembling puss (oh-h-h-h yuck), especially if there has been any damage like crawling on my knees in garden. Not to say it is ok, just to say from my expierence it is not unusual. Also some of my tumors have on occasion developed a white head as in a pimple. Perhaps the body is sending white blood cells to help fight what they see as a infection in the case of a injury. If it still bothers you or changes have a dr. check it out. Hope it is better.
mine have never done that! I thought perhaps a boil, until you said it had been there for 20 years. Best to get it checked by a doctor.
I just recently had the one on my chest get very infected and sore for almost 2 weeks. It came to a head and everything. My daughter and I were just diagnosed last week but Ive had this bump on my chest for years and out of nowhere it just got infected. Went to doc was told it was a absess didnt know anything about NF..now everything in my life makes since since finding out about the NF.
I don't want to be graphic, but once or twice, I have a pimple develop WITHIN the tumor on my forehead. Is that a possibilty for the one on your chin?
