Hi does anyone know if its ok to tattoo over a fibroma?
i often wonder myself about that. Also about a tattoo over a cafe au lait spot.
Hey that a good idea Jill mind you only a got a couple of visible ones but others hmmmm good thinking
There is an old thread on this topic. Many others and myself who have NF along with cafe au lait spots have tattoos. I guess for each person it is different. Personally I haven't had any setbacks other than small pimples forming which I let heal naturally. Other than that, I have no problems at all. Go For It! Treat Yourself =)
i have had many tattos and have had no problem.in fact they gave me alot more confidence as far as wearing tank tops going shirtless.....some of the soft ones actually layed flat for the artist to tattoo over.thehard ones he just artistcally worked around them........just find a good tatt guy and explain your concerns and situation........have fun!
My brother is a TT artist. As long as they don't hurt you to touch then you should be fine.. and as for as the CALS go.. if you want a tatto to cover the up GO for it! I never thought I would have one and when my brother was getting his lisence he needed to practice so, I know he is beautiful artist on paper... so I went for it and I like it! No problems. Just use a lot of A&D ointment (sp?) with pain killer.
sweetiecat so you had a tattoo done over a CALS? I often thought about it and wondered if it would be ok? How big was it may i ask?
