Surgeons for NF in England

0 Recommendations

Hello everyone. i am a Malaysian student completing my bachelors degree in Psychology through Upper Iowa University's distance learning program. I am planning to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology after completing my bachelors, and the place that I am keen to go is England.

But I don't know how the support of NF patients is like in England. If anyone of you are from England and have been receiving treatments for your NF, please share with me your experiences. I would also like to know which states or hospital are known for their skills in NF treatment.

I have NF2.

Thanks in advance!

Hi;

Maybe try this. Subscribe to the ANA, "Acoustic Neuroma Association".

Look for Anthony ( Tony Wright ) . I'm not on the group, nor have his address.

He's in the UK, is NF-2, and has good knowledge of Drs and hospitals in Britain.

Best wishes to you from another in Iowa. : )

Hi;

There are a
number of hospitals in London which carry out AN surgery including
King's College and Charing Cross Hospital. The ENT
specialist (Professor Michael Gleeson) is based at
Guy's Hospital but tends to operate at King's alongside a neurosurgeon
there (Nick Thomas). They are both very well respected, I
believe.
