Tylenol Surgery Vicodin Morphine Oxycontin Oxycodone Pain Lyrica Neurontin Acetaminophen Percocet
oxycodine is the same thing as oxycodone, which is known as Percocet (brand name).
I forgot the strength I take, but it does seem to work. It must be good because the drug addicts seem to like it.
it's the same thing as oxycontin... the only difference is that oxycontin is time release - a drug addicts paradise.
thats what i meant, Oxycodone, i looked at my bottle after i wrote this post.
i didn't know that this was the same as Percocet...
my insurance wouldn't cover Oxycontin...i've bad things about that and i was afaird to take it.
the Oxycodone seems to work....i've taken it 2x before bed and woke up with a "pill hangover" i don't really like that......i'm kind of a lightweight when it comes to medication tho
I also take Oxycodone 7.5-325 MG TAB. No more than four tablets in one day. It does help somewhat, but I am still in pain.
Percocet is oxycontin with tylenol. I get a bad pill hangover from straight oxy. However Percocet seems ok. Right now I'm on Vicodin 7.5 - 500. I take enough to kill someone twice my size and its just so-so. Thats the thing with pain meds. When you are actually in pain, you dont get high and its not supposed to be fun. Doctors act like you are a fiend if you ask for narcotics... but I tried lyrica and neurontin... aside from making me psychotic and suicidal, they didnt help a bit. If surgery is not an option and NF is not only NOT gonna go away, but progress... what does it matter what we take for pain?
It take 7.5/500 mg 4 times a day of oxycodone along with several other drug and have for years and it makes the pain bearable.
but I am lucky my insurace covers it.
I wish u the best of the luck
Spork - Percocet is Oxycodone. Percodan is Oxycodone with asprin instead acetaminophen.
Oxycontin is a time-release form of Oxycodone/Percocet/Percodan.
That's the only difference is the fact that it's a time-release pill.
And what i also need to add is that is why the drug addicts go after the oxycontin. because they can grind up the pills and snort them or whatever else they do to get high from them. the buzz is much more intense when the time release pills are ground up.
i really despise drug addicts. they make it so difficult for people in pain to get their meds filled when they need them.
I am under a 2 of the leading pain management specialists in Australia and they have me on a morphine sub drug called Kaponol I have been on it for about 12 years now and I have a high dose of 150Mg twice a day . It is a slow release which gives you a controlled level of pain releafe over the whole day . Because it is a slow release I also have a small bottle of liquid morphine called Ordine as sometime's the pain also can get away from the slow release drugs. I have both forms of nf having nf1 & nf2 . I dont know from your short note if you have other drugs to help with the effects of nf . I have attened several pain clinics and they have used diffrent methods of breaking the pain cycle the one I am attending in Melbourne gives me a drug called Ketamine via a Iv infusion for about 7-10 days , ketamine is a horse tranquilizer , the idea is to bomb you right out and give you a peroid of time completely pain free , this alows your normal pain killer to be much more effective it gave me about 10 months of good pain controll and gave me a much better life style . if you would like to know more just drop us line and I wil gladley tell u about the other drugs and the pain clinics i have been to . Best of luck in getting good pain killes with your insurence problems I am lucky a I get mine through aussie version of a veterens hospital
best of luck Wayne Aka chippie
