ok today i took Tristan to his neurologist and i'm more confused now then i was. He has been having terrible migraines--3 to 4 a week since August. Even his Torodol hasn't been helping him much. his last MRI was in oct 08. so it is time for his yearly check. which i was informed today that he doesn't have to have each year (this neurologist was the one who told me he did). And then on top of that he told me that he didn't have to have one with Contrast (which his neuro-surgion told me he would always have to have done). He gave him depacote (sp?) to try to stop the headaches, so we started it tonight. He mentioned he would have to have routine bloodwork to keep a check on his liver. This was the same meds that he didn't want to put him on 6 months ago because of his age (10). Not sure what has changed in that time limit. i'm having trouble with trauncy because of the headaches. If i send him to school and he goes to the nurse they fuss and if it is so bad that i don't send him they fuss about that too. so i can't win either way i go. Has anyone taken Depacote and it help with the headaches?? anyone have information or know where i can find information on Home schooling?? It seems like the only option that i have to get out from under the school systems attendence rules. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
