I have had Nf for about 11 years with severe mayalgia. Lessions, strokes,caffee latte,and several oporations for cycts. It all became dormant for about two years and now in 2009 I have suffered for seven weeks with sever mayalgia associated with NF. I cant move anymore. i cant use my hands well nor wipe my ass due to the body pain and muscle pain all over. my doctor doesnt know what to do and i am on no pain medication at the moment. my 6 year old had surgery august 13 09 for a cysts or boil on his throat. he also presents early signs of nf. cafe spots.
I'm worried because I'm not being treated correctly my the medical facility. I cant get out of bed in the morning nor cook or do normal things. I applied for dissability since i cant work but it has been hard to get any information from dissability and the social security department. Medicade forces you to try three to four different types of prescriptions before they will pay for my pain medication that i should be on. so on top of suffering for seven weeks i have to add 4 more due to medicade. can someone send me info, resources information anything that would help please.
I just dont know what else to do. I preffer to end it all than to live this way and wait for it to happen.

Don't end it all! Think of your kids. That will the worst type of child abuse you could ever bestow upon your children. I know! My brother killed himself when I was only 15 years-old and I have never gotten over it. If you love your kid..don't do it!
