Great idea. I can tell you from expirience that there are plenty of people who do this on a routine basis, unfortunately they are some of our oldest citizens, those who understand the sacrifice ALL of our service members make for our freedoms and safety. Remember, it was our peacetime Armed Forces who won the Cold war just by their presence and readiness. Thanks to ALL of our Vets.

My dad was in the Marines until they discovered he was color blind and then they tranfered him into the army. That was a long time ago. I wonder if they let color blind people serve now? He served during Korean conflict but, never was deported... Thank you to all our service men and women!

You could try depending on the job he/she was going to do

he was a parot chooter.. (not sure of that spelling at all!) he jumped out of airplanes..

No need he was one of those idiots who jumped out of a perfectlt good airplane. That should have made a difference

true and you know what when I was a little girl we flew to FL and he was more scared than us... my mom reminded him of his army days and he said that was when I was young and dumb!

Unclesteven, walking on unsteady ground! Battle Hardened Paratrooper here.

Did that, done that and still do that. ;-)

Thank you anyone that is on this site for serving our country and doing what it takes to keep it free. :-)

yes thank you any one who has served your country, including first responders

Military brat here. I was denied entry into the service however. People love freedom and especially on this site we LOVE to dissagree. Lets remember the people who gave us the right to have that right. You all know me, I LOVE to have my say and I love that other people have the right to be WRONG (lol). Not a day goes by that I'm not gratefull to my friends, family and all the people I dont know who paid for that right. Thank you to all our guys and girls in boots, bombers and boats. Thank you.
