ok here it goes...
my mom who has been sick for as long as I can remember... diabetes, heart disease, etc... fibromyalgia was a main diagnosis for her pain...
now this year, but has been going on for longer I think... her oxygen level wont stay up... she is having seizures, severe headaches, they found and removed a tumor the size of a golf ball from her heart, which was causing her to have strokes and not be able to breathe... when that was done they said that was the problem, now she is back in the hospital and having seizures and headaches again and low oxygen... I don't get it, why can't anyone figure out what is wrong with her? does anyone here have any insight to what it could be? reading the posts here I was thinking maybe she was just misdiagnosed, I have sarc, that is spreading, but they haven tfound any granulomas in her anywhere.... thanks for letting me rant

Did they do a MRI of her brain? As for you what is sarc? Maybe the tumor grew back on the heart. What tests were done for her O2 failing status. Does she have any lung problems?
Is she in the hospital now? If not I would take her back and or get new doctors.
You have to be assertive with your health care because there is alot of doctors that simply don't care and do the least amount of work as possible and if they don't know something they won't admit it.
I know because I have worked with some really bad docs and also with some really good ones. They are hard to find so keep looking until you find that one.
Good luck and keep me posted.

thanks for the reply
she is in the hospital again...
they have done catscans and mri... her brother just died 4 days ago from brain anuerisms(sp) so they checked for that and they checked for regrowth of the tumor, which was just removed in june, and nothing yet. Nothing is showing up anywhere, but thats what they said about the heart tumor, they told us that if they hadn't caught that and sent her home she would have died in her sleep then.
I would be more aggressive with her docs if I could afford to go and be with her.
Sarc is short for sarcoidosis an autoimmune disease that destroys whatever it touches.
