Ever since i could write i have had very messy hand writting.
My hand shakes
Some times i find a pen that makes it neater
Never take note of the brand though
The thicker the nib the better ??????

Sam always had poor handwriting, they say because he had fine motor skill problems, which is common with NF. He used to use a "gripper" that was attached to his pen or pencil.

I know what you mean about messy writing. When I was working there was a steady decline to where I was pretty much the only person that could read what I had written. I tried big barrel pens and I tried wrapping rubber bands around the barrel to help me grip it which helped some but now with the atrophy in my hand its even hard to hold a pen at all, so thank goodness for the computor.

When using a pencil, my son does better with a #9 lead with a bigger grip. They're fairly easy to find at a lot of stores. Both of my kids have NF and struggle with theire handwriting. It's very common.

I THOUGHT IT WAS ME, MY HANDWRITING IS REALLY BAD, MY HAND ALSO SHAKES AND I WILL DO ANYTHING NOT TO WRITE, I AM SO THANKFUL FOR MY PC AND EMAIL.

the ot has my son pich these clipes to make his fingers stronger even started out useing a strawberry holer the moved to tongs with a spring we also have him color on a 3ring binder tured sideways so it is at a slant it helps keep his rist at a 90 degree and that also seems to help
