Join Neurofibromatosis Inc. California at Children's Hospital Central California for a free educational meeting about life with NF.
The meeting is open to the public. Those with Neurofibromatosis and those who support those with Neurofibromatosis are highly encouraged to attend.
Keynote speaker:
Dr. Dawn DeLozier, Medical Geneticist
Benefits of attending:
Learn how to recognize the signs and complications of NF.
Connect with local Neurofibromatosis support.
Interact with others who understand the diagnosis.
The NF diagnosis can be over- whelming. Many have the impression that since there is no cure, there is no advantage in learning more about NF or in seeking support. Attending this meeting will help patients better understand the essential nature of proactive medical care and provide physicians with tools to better support NF patients.
The needs of both adults and children will be discussed. To help families wishing to attend, there will be a free kids club for those age 18 months to 15 years.
