I have a fantastic 9-year-old daughter who was conclusively diagnosed three years ago with idiopathic FSGS. Despite a total lack of respose to every possible drug, and spilling 3/4+ protein the entire time, her blood albumen levels stay close to normal range, she has no oedema, and perfect kidney function. There is nothing to distinguish her from a healthy, athletic, joyful kid. Yes, we know we're lucky but can she possibly stay this way or is eventual decline inevitable? Have any of you experience of this - for good or ill?
