My last two treatments have not improved my spillage at all. My Dr believes that I have progessed to stage 3 CKD. I've just started Cellcept for the next two months. Just in case this doesn't work either, what do I have to expect? I wanted to hear from others out there that have had nothing work and never had "remission". Are you getting dylasis? How long did it take before you got to that point. Is there anyone out there that is at Kidney failure now?
Hi, When my son first got sick nothing worked for him. They wanted to remove his kidneys because his edema was so bad. The thing that saved him was rituximab. After this drug he went into remission and now takes Cellcept to keep him from relapsing. We did try Cellcept before but it did not work at all but after the rituximab it seems to keep him in remission. Ask your doctor about it, many doctors are skeptical of it because it is new but for some people it works very well. good luck
