Are we just less immune than your average person, who gets strep in July?? ME! Anyone else sick of being sick, another pill oh boy! I want to wake up one day and feel great! Someday this will happen and until then I am keeping my hopes up, and prayers going.
Sorry for the rant, 3 days off from work and I am going crazy!

Oh my!!! Sorry to hear you have strep. But sweetie you didn't rant. I have had a sinus infection that i have been thru 3 atibiotics for. The 4th today. This has then gone to my chest and caused an upper respitory infection. My throat is sore and actually they suspected strep. Look we have an autoimmune disease. We are going to suffer from things that other people don't. Nothing is simple. We don't just get a cold and feel lousy when we wake up and then get our selves going and feel better as the day goes on like we use to do. And then come home and crash and do it all over again until we are back on track. Not to mention not being able to take over the counter meds to feel better. I don't know about you, but i can't take anything over the counter except for tylenol. (What i wouldn't do to take a few advil for my pain). Now we have to worry about the time we miss from work because we are out so much. I've given up on working full time. I miss my work so much. Not that it was so important, or made a lot of money, but it was a huge part of my independance. If i wanted to spend money i spent it. I am newly remarried and not working full time. We are fixing up out house and his ideas and mine are totally different. He thinks new window and floors are all we need. Well I beg to differ. I may be 48 but it's like starting again at 20 and we need everything and i won't be content until we do. I don't mean riches. I just mean a comfy, cozy home. Every time i say lets go look at furniture? He says we don't need it. Yes we do!!! And believe me we do. This house has been under construction (by us) since january. Now, the windows are in garage to be installed by him as he insisted to save money. So they need to be installed. I have a hard time going out and spending money on a large purchase w/o him. But i have been patient for along time and i say enough is enough. Whan i am sick i want to like what surrounds me.
Gosh I look up to you guys, I can't even up my own much a less a job. I didn't think I got sick so much until, the neph. put on meds, as well as the primary doc. It's like we found out what it is and BAM take this and that. Of course, not sound bad or anything but everyone else is saying it wasn't that bad, or we didn't stay long enough to get sick. For instance I go to the prim. doc. last week seat by someone coughing and sneezing and I still have it. Any idea how safe it is to take a flu shot?
