The Step Forward Walk program for NephCure just completed the 10 fundraising walks for 2008. We are excited to announce that over $250,000 was raised to fund research into finding a cure for Nephrotic Syndrome.
We are already thinking about next year. If you are interested in holding a walk in your community, please contact me at icohen@nephcure.org or by posting a reply. We will provide you with all of the materials you need to get started and guide you through the planning steps.
Walks are a great way to bring together other families in your community who are dealing with a lot of the same issues, raise awareness for the disease, and raise money for research all at the same time!
