Repeat Biopsy

My son was diagnosed with FSGS in April of this year, confirmed with a biopsy. His doctors said at some time down the road we will do another biopsy. I'm wondering what others have experienced. If you've had more than one biopsy since diagnosis, and if so how long did you wait before doing another?

My 7 year old daughter has ha fsgs since 2006. With this disease it is tedious and requires constant care. You must remember you are your childs only advocate, always go with your gut feelings. You know your child best. I asked the same questions over and over for at least a year to try to get some understanding of this disease, that doctors know very little about how to treat or what is the mechanism that cause the fsgs. I wish you the best down this long road.
