Is there or could there be a place on nephspace for young children to share their feelings, fears and concerns with each other ???? I know Nephspace been such a blessing for me to seek help on many issues I just wondered if somehow Emmy could get the same benefit???? God Bless Melissa!!!!

Sounds like a good idea to us!!! Morgan is only 5 but happy to tell me what to write. Trace

I agree. There should be a place for them to talk about how they are feeling with other children who understand.

I keep asking Jelani how he's feeling. There are days that I know he is full of fear but he doesn't want me to worry. So, he says that he is fine. Perhaps, he'll be honest with others who understand.

Perhaps, a group for the children. Jelani is 9 and he understands pretty much everything I explain to him about his illness. Maybe he'll be able to open up to others in a way that he is unable to with me.

Morgs and nasnye, my understanding is that they have to be 13 to have there own account on Inspire but I am letting Emmy read what I think is appropriate for her on my account.....She smiles when she reads how people care about us...its good for her spirit. Plus our children can email or the old traditional pen pal method to each other. My Emmy is very excited to do all of it...the smaller ones could even draw out their feelings on paper and stamp and mail....they can all be little cyber angels with big inspirations.....God Bless all of you!!!!! One of the scariest things for a child going through this illness is the feeling of loneliness. If they could know and interact with others like them and SEE others like them, I think it would combat so much of the psychological effects this disease brings.
I remember the loneliness and the feeling of being the "only sick one". I thing any realm that could address this for the kids would be so positive. I did not have the internet all those years ago, I wish I did
