Diet and nutrition

There are many nutrition and dietary factors that can affect your bones. There are specialized diets/nutrition programs that attempt to maximize the potential bone health benefits of certain foods. Some of these programs also suggest avoiding certain foods believed to negatively impact bone health. While more research will enable us to better understand this very complex topic, we encourage individuals to share their beliefs and experiences as they relate to this area.
