What a change!!

It was always in the back of my mind. I had put off getting the bone density scan for about 3 years. Well, on Monday of this week, when I went in for my yearly checkup, I couldn't put it off anymore. The bone scan was just one floor below my doctor's office!

I wasn't surprised that they told me that my hips had lowered, but in other ways I was. I have always drink alot of milk, took vit. D, did hard work (I work in a steel foundry) so I always thought that I would be in my 60's when I would have the first start of this. I was wrong.

I am going to do everything that I can to delay anymore bone loss. But, my mind is running a hundred miles an hour. I have one daughter, and a beautiful granddaughter, and two grandsons. Do, I need to worry about all of them? Yes, I do.

But, this is all for now. As the time goes by, and I have another scan next year, as I am a high risk, early age when I had to have all my female organs removed, (due to early pre-cancer). I will do all I can.
