Sharing from my morning for all animal and especially horse lovers

Thought I would share this from my morning with all you animal and especially horse lovers.
Today I started wearing a mask when I go down to the barn and work around the horses and chickens and hay...
I thought the horses may be a little bit leery of my new look, not as drastic as when I surprised them in the rain coat in the middle of a storm that had started before I got home one day, LMAO, that was a good one, but I did think they would " Notice".
They always come right up to me when I go out, and today was no different when I opened the door and stepped out all their heads went up, and they started in my direction. . .
But Jake swung his head around first at Earnie, then at Sammy and in silent horse communication apparently told them to wait there:) And they did. He continued to me, and if you could say horses have expressions, his big brown eyes looked so concerned, it was so cute:) He got to me, touched his nose to the mask and inhaled deeply, and then just rested his head ever so gently on my shoulder and sighed. LOL.
As I went about our business with feeding and water he proceeded to "protect " me. Haha he would not let the other two any where near me lol.
Animals are so cool to interact with. lol My dogs worry about me too:)
