Osteoporosis pain or Not

0 Recommendations

I had a cracked vertabra and the surgeon said I needed to have kypoplasty done so I did. He said after I had it done he assured me I would be totally pain free.Well I was for 5 days then the pain started all over again. He said it was just muscle spasms and still stands on that diagnosis today.I had a bone scan done and found out that I have osteoporosis of the hip and spine.I have severe pain of the spine and my legs at times are so painful I think I have rubbed the skin off them.I am on pain meds but they just don't seem to be strong enough.I get so fustrated that I can't do a lot of things most days. I live in a city and the Dr' here aren't the best. I am now wondering if my pain is from the osteoporosis or is it something else? I am now waiting for a referel to go into the big city and let some real good Dr's look at all my MRI's and paperwork and hoping they will come up with some answers for me. Can't live my life like this I am only 50 yrs old.
