The National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) is pleased to let you know about our new brochure called "A Guide to Osteoporosis Medicines."

This new brochure provides information about the medicines that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved to prevent and treat osteoporosis. It also features sections on the following topics:

• When to take an osteoporosis medicine
• What to consider when choosing a medicine
• Benefits and risks
• Reporting side effects
• What to expect from your medicine
• Staying with your treatment plan
