I am not spelling this correctly but some go to a Rhemaarthritis doctor.....

Hi Really,

For you ladies an Endocrinologist may be appropriate. I say that because you folks are often dealing with a hormonal cause. I see a Rheumatologist myself, and am very happy with him. Good luck to you,

Tom

Thanks for the info, even though I am female... I had complete hysteromcy at age 27 and don't have any female parts or horomones...basically I am not female when it comes to treatment! think I will try the rheumatologist route.

Hey Really... you are still female and your bones need estrogen! How old are you now? Estrogen is an option or SERMs might also be an option. I have seen 4 different kinds of drs. because the most important thing is to find any dr. who takes a special interest in Osteoporosis. Over the last 17 years I have seen Endocrinologists, a Sports Medicine Dr. and recently have decided that my Internal Med dr. is more on top of my health than any other dr. so I'm pretty tight with her right now.

Have not had any luck with meds, estogen makes me ill as do oesto meds. Need doc who has some new suggestions
