I'm going to read "The Myth of Osteoporosis" -- Re concerns of these meds on premenopausal women; I've read warnings (can't remember where online) about these meds on the bone growth of a baby before birth. I'm searching back and forward will send anything I learn.

Any input about taking Boniva --- my doc advised that -- but I'm going to find an expert (trying Stanford) Endocrinologist I'm guessing........ I'm just 40 and not looking forward to just settling for the fact that my bones are already "very old" --

Anybody know any Dr names from Mayo Clinic or any other prestigious medical communities?

Hi Mary
I live in Los Gatos and noticed that you live close to me. As far as doctors go, I have a great one that I see at Stanford. His name is Dr. David Karpf and he sees patients on Tuesdays at the osteoporosis/endocrinology clinic. He is an endrocrinologist and has years of experience. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.
