Strontium citrate

0 Recommendations

This i my first time on this side and i hope i can get some information on Strontium citrate.
I have had Kidney Stones ( calcium oxalate ) for over 30 years with one surgery and 2 Lithotripsy procedures behind me and are unable to take Calcium supplement due to the stones. After a bone density test i was told that i have osteopenia and my Doctor wanted me to start taking Boniva but after checking the side effects i have refused to take Boniva and was wondering if taking Strontium citrate would be a better option for me.Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lady,
There are a few people here that take Strontium Citrate.
I would look up the disgussion we have had on it ,and also look up "Bone Lady" She has allot of good information about Strontium and she takes it.

When you take Strontium you still have to take Calcium. But 3 hours after or before taking Strontium.
Do you Drs. know why your getting Kidney stones etc?

Do you take Vitiman D3, and Mag, and a few other vitimans..
Also have you looked into eating 80% alkaline, and 20% acid foods to rebuild your bones..
Allot of veggies that have natural calcium.

You might want to, www.google.com, and look up, why to eat 80/20..Also what veggies not to eat!

Also red meat, caffee, salt, soda, smoking, alcohol is not good for our bones...they deplete the calcium from out bones.

Resistant exercise rebuilds bones. Walking is good, lefting light weights.
You might want to go to a Phyical therapits, to find out what you should not be doing, and what you should be doing, and do it the right way, to rebuild bone mass.

Take Care,
April
