PrC & Osteoprosis Medication

I have marginal osteoporosis in my spine (-2.3) diagnosed when i recently started hormone treatment (ADT); i will be on lupron for 28 months.
my endocronologist is prepared to prescribe oral meds (fosomax or actonel) or zometa given i have been diagnosed with intermediate/advanced PrC, notwithstanding there is no visual evidence of bone mets. one question is dosage since neither my osteoporosis nor my Prc would normally demand zometa, albeit together it may be appropriate.
i plan to consult my radiation oncologist (mack roach), but wonder if any of you have experience with a comparable situation.

I have noticed that with so few men being active in this group that there is not often another guy with enough familiarity to respond when one of us posts a question or comment. I am not familiar with the abbreviation PrC and goggling it did not match to a Dx, so I thought I would see if you are still receiving e-mails from this site and ask you to post a little more information, perhaps an update. Maybe there are more guys participating now after nine months and some will reply with information or similar concerns.

I saw a different question earlier, but he may have been taken down if no one had any information or input.

PrCa is prostate cancer; I was diagnosed with borderline osteoporosis when I had a bone density test prior to commencing hormone deprivation therapy (lupron), 9 months ago. I expect to repeat around november after 12 months; as mentioned lupron is known to thin the bones by 5%-10%.
I received an infusion of zometa good for 12 months, that we'll repeat.
I have also been exercising daily, either rowing (sculling) or cycling; however 10 weeks ago I got 'doored' riding to the boathouse and fractured my right wrist (radius) and left collarbone. The doc felt the injury was not compromised by the bone density, since the force of impact was high.
I'm now back to rowing and debating whether to replace my road bike after 4 accidents in 5 years!
